These bogies are used under lots of refurbished MkI coaches to give better ride quality. Most BR Blue coaches were fitted with these bogies including kitchen cars. Most railtour MkI stock running at the moment use either these bogies or the MkII style B4 bogies fitted to the refurbished Intercity MkI stock.
